The Office of Student Affairs is responsible for enhancing student growth and development and providing a range of support services to the students for their emotional, personal, physical, psychological well-being.


Counselling

Offers free and strictly confidential counseling sessions to all students who may be struggling with personal issues, depression, anxiety, or stress-related health problems.

Cultural Activities

Provides advice to students to avail of the full range of cultural and fine arts opportunities at the University.

Sports

Provides the opportunity for students to enjoy and to participate in various sports to get a healthier lifestyle, develop new skills, and improve their sport talents.

Scientific Trips

Students can utilize linkages, partnerships, MoU agreements with international universities to participate in exchange and training programs.

Exchange Programs

Exchange programs offer students and professionals the opportunity to immerse themselves in a different culture, broaden their horizons, and gain valuable international experience. These programs facilitate academic, cultural, and professional exchanges between institutions and individuals worldwide. By fostering cross-cultural understanding and promoting global collaboration, exchange programs contribute to personal growth, intercultural competence, and a more interconnected world.

Orientation

The orientation program is held during the week before the start of term to give student a chance to settle into life at the university. During the orientation, a student will see where he / she will be studying, meet university staff, and make new friends.

  • Advice on accommodation, immigration, health, finance, travel and social activities is also given (international students).
  • Free english and mathematics crash courses are provided before the regular semester begins.

  • Students can also get special adviced and support from our student support, visa support and information on finance and accommodation. International student can join other international students in the International Students' Society, in different clubs and organizations on campus.
    The university provides an academic orientation program for all students new to the University a month prior to the beginning of their first semester. This is a great chance for them to familiarize themselves with the campus and the campus lifestyle.

  • Each Faculty/academic center offers an orientation program, where students are welcomed and introduced to the program of study.
  • The University welcomes the student and family with an official President’s welcome.
  • There are practical ways for students to get settled in, like tours of the Student Affairs Office, Library, Examination unit, the laboratories, and other facilities in the campus.
  • The Faculty of Basic Studies also provides Crash Courses for Mathematics and English to the incoming students prior to the start of semester.
