Health and Food

The University provides a free Student Health Service. The campus clinic is staffed by a doctor and a nurse. The service is available from 8.30 am – 3.00 pm Saturday to Thursday during the semester.Opening hours during the vacation periods are from 8.30 am to 2.30 pm, Saturday to Thursday.
If necessary, the staff will make a referral to an emergency care center in one of our preferred insurance medical providers.

At the FU campus, there is a wide selection of foods available inside and outside the campus. One can have traditional Sudanese meals or fast food at the FU cafeteria. There is a shopping mall and a local vegetable market located within a few kilometers from the campus. A bookshop,  banking facilities are also nearby.
