Participation of Future University in the General Union of Students for its sixteenth annual conference in honor of the President of the Republic of Sudan

                 The General Sudanese Students Union held its general 16th anniversary conference during the period 15-16 November 2017, by organizing a big festival at the Friendship Hall in Khartoum. The event was under the patronage of His Excellency General Omer Hassan Ahmed Al Basheer, The President of the Republic. The banner of the conference was ”Renewal of Allegiance for Country”.

The Future University (FU) participated in some scientific and technical projects that received the appreciation of the attendees. H.E. the President applauded and commended those projects presented by the FU students.

On the 2nd day of the Conference, His Excellency Bakri Hassan Salih, The  First Vice President and the Prime Minister, visited the festival and accompanied the exhibition where he granted honorary shields and certificates of appreciation together with compensation to the first three student winner projects of FU in recognition to their excellent work. All other participants of FU were awarded with cash.

 

The three winning projects are:

  1. Critical Scanning Robot: Is about Robot using scanners. This project was undertaken by the student Salah Mohamed. The Robot uses scanners to collect data in case of nuclear explosion by measuring the temperature, humidity and smoke emitting from the explosion.

 

 

  1. Autonomous Firefighter Robot: The student Mohammed Ibrahim and Sarah Siragaldin were able to invent a device, which it’s an automatic fire fighting robot where that is specifically designed for fighting fires, especially in dangerous unreachable places. 

 

  1. Solar Powered Auto Irrigation System Using GSM: Is about irrigation by solar energy. Hiba Mohamed Alhassan and Sarah Tagelsir, managed to create a project that control water irrigation using solar energy by calculating the degrees of the humidity in the soil. This process leads to starting and stopping the water pump.
